Hailing from South Shields, this rising British singer and songwriter began his musical journey playing in local pubs aged 14, supported by his dad who was the singer of the band Pineapple Head. Since then he’s had songs featured on TV shows “Love Island” and “The Only Way Is Essex”. Inspired by Stevie Wonder and James Morrison, whom he supported on his tour, he debuted with “Princess” in 2017.
Joining together various sonic elements taken from soul, R&B and retro-pop, his new single offers something for every ear. Kicking off with a short barbershop harmony, the melody unfolds with a rich bassline, handclaps and his vintage-dipped vocals, before erupting into a bubbly, 80s-styled chorus. Slightly reminiscent of George Michael, this highly infectious neon groove glitters like 24 carat gold.
